The map

A network of loops, and the people in them.

Each project here is a loop: work that recurs and still needs a person somewhere in it. Agents take the repeatable part; a person keeps the judgement, the signature or the hands. The aim is to retire each loop's routine part, so the people in it can move to the next constraint.

Layer one

The rails

What every other loop runs on: a way to move value, a way to decide together, and a way to get the work done.

Under these sit 12 shared packages. Each is a loop already retired: a problem that kept recurring across projects, solved once so the next project starts past it.

Value

In the loop The owner of a wallet decides what moves.

Aims to retire Asking a bank or a platform for permission to be paid.

Decisions

In the loop Members vote, with signatures anyone can recount.

Aims to retire Decisions nobody can check after the fact.

Execution

In the loop A person sets the goal and approves what ships.

Aims to retire Doing by hand what an agent can do and a reviewer can check.

Records

In the loop A person decides what is collected and why.

Aims to retire Retyping the same information from paper, photos and spreadsheets.

Layer two

The constraints

Some limits are not software: materials, chips, energy. Knowing which one binds decides where the next loop should be.

Physical chokepoints

In the loop A researcher checks every source.

Aims to retire Guessing where the bottleneck is.

Layer three

Professionals in the loop

Advice with consequences. AI prepares the work; a qualified professional owns the decision and answers for it. The signature is the part that stays human.

Medicine

In the loop A licensed clinician stands behind the AI.

Aims to retire Care that starts only when someone finds an appointment.

Law

In the loop A licensed lawyer owns the mandate.

Aims to retire Billing hours to untangle an unstructured pile of documents.

Allocating moneyno venture yet

In the loop A qualified adviser answers for the advice.

Aims to retire Advice paid by the product it recommends, and decisions made without the numbers in view.

Named, not built: no venture, no product and no offer exists for this loop yet. Financial advice is regulated work; nothing here is advice.

Safety

In the loop A calm, qualified person beside you when it matters.

Aims to retire Worry spread over everything instead of the one proportionate step.

Other specialists

In the loop A specialist reviews what the AI drafts.

Aims to retire Generic answers to questions that need a field's knowledge.

Layer four

Loops in the world

Where the work meets things and places: devices, homes, languages, small businesses. These loops are found here first, and what repeats across them becomes a package.

Things kept in use

In the loop A technician tests, repairs and vouches for it.

Aims to retire Usable things ending up as waste, or lost for good.

Arriving and belonging

In the loop A caseworker, a teacher, a neighbour.

Aims to retire Newcomers left alone with forms and a language they cannot yet hear.

Funding good work

In the loop The organisation decides what to ask for.

Aims to retire Writing every funding application from scratch.

Animal health

In the loop A vet, a sitter or a groomer.

Aims to retire Signs of illness noticed too late.

A business, online

In the loop The owner approves every change.

Aims to retire Waiting on an agency to fix a typo.

Loops kept human on purpose

Not every loop should disappear. In Solon, decisions about aid disbursement, membership, safety and the governance rules themselves cannot be voted by agent members — only by people. Those are red lines, not settings to tune, and the map does not count them as work to retire.
